David Johnstone, CFP® FMA FCSI
Investment AdvisorI’ve been an Advisor for more than 20 years, it’s my first and chosen career. Even as a teenager I had an inclination and aptitude for all things related to money and after university I went straight to work in the head office of a large investment management firm.
Since then, I’ve pursued learning and professional designations that allow me to simplify and organize the financial side of life for business owners, incorporated professionals, high income earners and their families.
As an independent advisor I am not tied to quotas or the product offerings of any company. I build and implement financial solutions designed around your specific situation.
I have been a CFP Professional since 2005, which binds me to a fiduciary standard and Code of Ethics to always act in my client’s best interest. I have earned the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation, which reflects advanced knowledge beyond the scope of basic financial planning, as well as the peer-endorsed Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
My approach to working with clients is simple: by working with us you will have better real-life, long-term financial results than your peers or could be achieved on your own.
We work only for our clients. And we know that these are long term relationships. Choosing each other carefully, making sure there is a “fit” is always how we begin to welcome a new client like you.
If you want to better organize and simplify your finances, get clarity about your financial future or move to the next level of financial management, let’s get together and start the conversation.
The coffee is on me.
